· I-Fei leaves Yellow Stone and school for good
· Da must do the farming work in place of his sister since she is at a temporary job in Han Jian.
· Da gets huge blisters from the farm work and he learns how he can choose his future while his brothers and sisters can not. He rethinks about school and its importance.
· Da must go and take over his sister’s job at the canned food factory.
· While at a stop along the sea on his way to Han Jian, he remembers his grandpa telling him about the sea village.
· Da first meets Fatty at the canned food factory and Da learns about how the boss is corrupt.
· Da hears the girl living next to him get raped and then he tells all of his co-workers about it.
· The manager and bodyguard are in a chase when the bodyguard collapses and Da realizes the he was the one who raped the girl next door.
